Monifieth High School
The first school show took place in June 1977. Every pupil in the school (around 130 in total!) took part in some way in staging excerpts from ‘Oliver’.
Fagin looks a little older than the rest of the cast, because he was played by David Easson, Principal Teacher of Mathematics. David was the longest-serving of the original staff members, only retiring in June 2007.
